'Oh Elvas, oh Elvas, Badajoz on sight'

This is one of the images that I'd put up in a portfolio - if I ever had one. It's one of the few images I've taken that I really enjoy.

What you see in the background is the Elvas station, a frontier station in the Alto Alentejo, the line in front of you is the Linha do Leste (or "East Line" - if you're a german-speaking person, there's this link), the train on the tracks is the 09h05 13853 special train from Entroncamento to Badajoz, rented by the Portuguese Traction Group,, the locomotive in front is the Class 1930's 1944 and, last but not least, the title of this deviation comes from this song.

(I have an eerie feeling that I've already submitted this image here... nah, it's probably nothing. Idiot.)
