Description

Don't act surprised: this is an example of the kind of preservation we do around here.
This is the sole survivor of the CP 150 series, one of the numerous kinds of steam locomotives we had in our ancient times. With time, they became obsolete, and were withdrawn and scrapped, with 167 remaining in one piece to, one day, be restored and be put up into a museum, or a pedestal. Well, neither the former or the latter happened, and so, this ancient centenary machine rots away at the Entroncamento station, with the National Railways Museum less than a kilometer away...

[I know, I know, I'm breaking my rule of not submitting anything steam-related... but I don't really care about rules, so... :XD:]

Ouch... A bit typical though, there'd be a great opportunity to preserve this unit, but nobody bothers.
